Developed by Acclaim's Austin, Texas-based developer Iguana Entertainment for the multi-million selling Nintendo 64 and based on the Acclaim Comics character, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter has become one of the most lucrative franchises in video games. In the game, a Native American hero must protect humanity against threats from residents of the Lost Land, populated by alien races and "Bionosaurs," highly intelligent bionic dinosaurs. Turok must assemble and utilize the mighty Chronosceptor againstst his arch-nemesis, the Campaigner, who is plotting to conquer the Earth with an army from the Lost Land.
