After aligning his nacent production company with a pair of new, but passionate film production outfits in Zealous Pictures, Inc. He would need an actor to become his doppleganger in the form of the

Boothe character; He would need an actor to become his doppleganger in the form of the Boothe character; he would need a cinematographer uniquely prepared to realize the visual point at which the urban collided with the mythic; and he would need an editor capable of tackling the shoot's shortcomings and cutting together a film that would speak his heart. Richard H. Blake, Derek Wan, and Ray Chung were each more than he could have ever hoped.

From this talented core, a cast and crew were assembled and given the impossible task of shooting a script of 28 pages (with almost as many scenes), taking place in half a dozen locations across the island of Manhattan, in four days and one night. Red Light August is the result.
